What types of products can I put on the bar with conveyor belt?
In principle, you can put all types of products on the belt - both food and non-food items. The display plates on the conveyor belt are 17.5 cm wide. In most cases, it will accommodate products up to approx. 25 cm across. If in doubt, we will be happy to advise you.
How much weight can the bar with conveyor belt hold?
Up to 40 - 50 kg in total. This is never a problem in catering. If you are displaying heavier products, you will have to calculate the total weight. The Catwalker systems can hold slightly more weight.
How do you get inside the mobile bar?
There are acrylic panels fitted between the aluminium supports. If you want, we can leave a panel out so that you can get in and out of the bar easily. Any panel can be left out. You can always replace the panel once you are inside the bar.
How much power do I need?
The bar with conveyor belt uses very little power, i.e. no more than 500 W. It can be connected to any standard 230 V power outlet. If you are using LED lighting, you will need a power outlet near the bar with 2 sockets. The LED lighting hardly uses any power.
How does the LED lighting work?
This option can give the bar a futuristic look in the colour that matches the company or the event. We agree the colours with you during installation. In principle, we can create any colour using an RGB mixer. The colours can even scroll. Ask the installation engineer to show you what options are available.
Can I have the bar with conveyor belt run through a wall?
Yes. However, you must bear in mind that the drive for this display conveyor consists of an endless belt. This needs to be taken into account in the wall design. Pre-Motion can also supply a standard wall with the appropriate aperture.
What setup (format) should I choose for my event?
We will be happy to advise you personally on the appropriate format for your event as there are many factors that can influence your choice of format. On an exhibition stand, the space available is often a key factor, and the number of seats can also be relevant. Depending on the concept, you can opt to use the bar with or without bar stools. Pre-Motion does not supply bar stools.
If the bar is to be used for catering, there are a number of important factors which you need to bear in mind when choosing the bar format. Do you want your guests to sit round the bar, or will you be simply using the bar as a serving point? Also relevant is whether you intend to use the bar for serving a main meal or as a catering bar for snacks to accompany drinks. Generally speaking, the concept has a high capacity and even a smaller size bar can accommodate a large number of people when used as a serving point.
NB: In the examples below we have based our capacity calculations on the bar being used as a serving point for finger food or drinks as part of a buffet or social event rather than as the sole serving facility for a main meal.
Small: For serving snacks or drinks. The bar can be manned by a single person. It is often used on an exhibition stand or as an attractive serving point at an event. The conveyor display length is 5.3 metres. If you place bar stools around it, you can seat between 9 and 12 people (depending on whether you want to allow an access space to the bar). TIP: We can also supply a table for insertion between the curved sections.
Medium: This is a very popular format. It can be manned by two persons. This size is often extended by inserting a simple desk or table in the middle. The Medium option is ideal for events involving 200 to 500* people (conveyor display length 8.3 m.). Between 15 and 18 bar stools can be positioned around this bar.
Large: The Large version offers a generous work area in the centre, particularly when set up as a rectangle. A perfect option for large events with up to 700* people (conveyor display length 11.3 m). Between 21 and 24 bar stools can be positioned around this bar.
X-Large: This format offers plenty of workspace in the middle and plenty of space around the bar. This is a popular choice for use on large exhibition stands or at major events. Particularly useful at events where a lot of people need serving in a short period of time (conveyor display length 14.3 m). See also: General questions on setting up and dismantling. Between 27 and 30 bar stools can be positioned around this bar.
What else is the mobile bar with conveyor belt called?
