What should I look out for when choosing a turntable?
Your choice of turntable will not only depend on the weight of your product but also - and at least as importantly - on how the weight is distributed. The maximum weight you can place on a turntable depends on the weight distribution of your product being precisely centred. If it is not, we will be happy to advise you. In this case it would probably be advisable to opt for a heavier turntable.

The diameter of the top plate also plays a major role. The bigger the diameter, the greater the lever effect. This means that you will need a heavier turntable.

Think about lifting a bucket of water, for example. You would probably have no trouble carrying a 10 litre bucket. But if I were to ask you to carry the bucket with your arm outstretched (about 50 cm away from your body), you would most likely find it very difficult to carry. This lever principle has a major impact on turntables on which the weight is not positioned in the middle.

I need to display an electrical appliance or illuminated item revolving on the turntable. How do I connect the power?
If you want to place an appliance or a lamp which needs a power supply on the turntable, you will need to choose the slip ring contact option. This provides a 230 V power connection (terminal strip) which revolves with the turntable.

Can I place the product directly on the turntable?
This depends on the model. Our models for hire come with an MDF top plate as standard. Our turntables for sale for up to 500 kg are sold without a top plate as standard. So you can simply screw on a display plate of your choice. This is very easy to do. We can also supply display plates in various diameters and materials on request.

How big does my order have to be?
You can place an order with us for anything from one unit for a shop to thousands of units simultaneously for a display builder, for example. We will be happy to advise you and provide you with a special quote for large quantities.
