Super de Boer franchise business man Weterings from Lage Zwaluwe was competing for the prestigious Supermarket of the Year prize. He presented a number of his products on the catwalk when the jury was visiting supermarkets. Both special offer products and tasting experiences.
"The clients love it", says Weterings. "It attracts children. Then their parents view the products. It's up to me which products I want to generate extra sales for with the Catwalker Avenue. I see immediate results when I present products on it. This enables me to decide which products I would prefer to present throughout the day. An absolute eye catcher in the store."
