Water-resistant turntable in Dekra testing room
Dekra inspects and certifies products and appliances. At their testing facility in Arnhem they test electrical boxes for water tightness, amongst other things. These boxes can weigh up to 3000 kg apiece. To thoroughly check the appliances for water tightness, Dekra uses a revolving platform from Pre-Motion.
A worker rolls the electrical box onto the built-in revolving platform. The integrated tilting mechanism of the turntable lifts the box. And then all sides are bombarded by huge amounts of water.
